Whoa! Can you say Antisocial Personality Disorder?
Sometimes I just like to do hoodrat things with my friends...
The first time I watched this video, I won't lie, I was shocked, and then laughed hysterically. I couldn't fathom how a child could do this and not show any kind of remorse or guilt at the after effects. Than I saw an episode of the Boondocks where Aaron McGruder takes this real life story and creates a satirical cartoon about the situation and how things could potentially end up of this kid, and children of the like, aren't helped. Being a school psychology student, I am also aware that I may encounter children just like this child in my practice.
Anyone who watches this video needs to realize that there is something seriously wrong with this kid and that this situation should not be taken lightly. The fact that he broke the law is one thing, but from the video, it seems that he has little regard for the lives that could have been taken because of his "joyride". He seems to feel no guilt! This is the scary part. He's only 8 year old and there are no tears or anything! His only concern is having someone help his grandmother pay for the damage that has been done, and honestly, I don't think he's very concerned with that. All in all, this kid needs serious intervention from a psychologist because his behavior will only get worse as he gets older and if he is not helped.
