"If This is Love" The Foreign Exchange

You don't know its a dream
you don't know if its real life,
thats what it feels like
with you.
You don't know anything you just know that it feels right,
thats when you realize
its true.

Chad OchoCinco on Wendy Williams

YouTube - Wendy Williams On Ochocinco Reality Show BLACK GIRLS - FUTURISTIC BLOGGER: ""

This clip leaves out the part where Wendy brought up his 3 baby mommas...all of which are black...I guess that was supposed to make things better. I feel him though, everyone has preferences, I'm not mad.

This Dudes Pretty Dope

He basically is showcasing hip hop songs sampled from Michael Jackson

SOLD!

This post is devoted to entertainers who have simply SOLD OUT over the years. Let me make it clear that there is a big difference between evolving and selling out; artists such as Kanye West, Jay-Z, John Legend etc. have changed over time, but they have still stayed true to the essence of who they are throughout their evolution (my opinion).
Other artists have simply become completely different people (i.e. different image, different sound, changed their core audiences etc.) Here are examples of artists who have made this "transition". Now just because they have sold out does not mean that I love them any less, I just love them differently now LOL. Here are the first two offenders

I just really love this song and video.

"Passion makes the world go round, Love just makes it a safer place"

Salvador Dali

Maybe someone can tell me the name of this painting. In any case, I like it

Yael Naim "New Soul " Excerpt

I'm a new soul
I came to this strange world
Hoping I could learn a bit bout how to give and take.
But since I came here,
Felt the joy and the fear
Finding myself making every possible mistake

I'm a young soul
In this very strange world
Hoping I could learn a bit bout what is true and fake
But why all this hate?
Try to communicate
Finding trust and love is not always easy to make

Two Cent$

I recently watched a video on Youtube where Diddy addresses Lil Kim's disappointment in him for working with Nicki Minaj on the song "Hello, Good Morning". There is a line from the song where Nicki says "Did I kill the Queen, not Alexander McQueen" and Lil Kim took this statement as a direct insult. Diddy claims that Nicki Minaj has never made comments that specifically address Lil Kim and is basically saying that Kim is "ODeeing" on him just for making a song with Nicki.
Diddy is full of total B.S. and so is anyone else who is acting like Nicki has never taken shots at Kim. If you listen to some of Nicki's past songs, she clearly takes shots at Kim and Foxy. She has talked about Foxy's fake West Indian accent and has referred to both of them as irrelevent old b*****s. I don't respect Diddy for making it seem like Kim is imagining the shots fired from Nicki. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Ms. Minaj but she has taken shots at Kim and Foxy...in my opinion, there's nothing wrong with that. If Nicki needed to take shots at current rap chicks to carve her own way, its all legal in love and hip hop...she just needs to own it.

Rick Ross - Free Mason feat. Jay-Z

Guess this is something like Jay-Z's response to all the free masonry and devil worshiping accusations.

Maybach Music Pt.III Rick Ross, T.I., Erykah Badu, Jadakiss

Not sure where the proclaimed Ricky Rozay is tryna take this whole Maybach music thing, but this song is pretty decent.

Trey Songz "Infidelity"

This song actually gave me a new found respect for this dude. Its kind of old now but I still really feel this song. Whatchu think?

Had a nice walk around my neighborhood to this song... "Today (Earth Song)" Erykah Badu

Jonathan Klein "Photos that Changed the World"

Compliments of Ted Talks.

"Victory" Nas, John Legend and DJ Khaled

DJ Khaled annoys the shit out of me but this song is cool.

Cassidy ft. John Legend "Searching"

John Legend went to college in Philly so I assume thats why he has this strong connection with Philly artists...even Cassidy...respect!

Cassidy ft. John Legend "Celebrate"

John Legend and Alicia Keys Collaboration with Swizz Beatz?!

So John Legend and Alicia Keys have apparently collaborated on a song that will appear on Swizz Beats album. The song is called "I'm a Star". Swizz believes the song is a great track but I am not too sure... A song with Alicia and John would seemingly be a match made in heaven, but Swizz Beats definitely f***s up the flow. I pray he isn't on the hook...hopefully he just helped produce the beat...barely

A more intimate look @ The Foreign Exchange

As many of you may already know or can tell from my previous postings, the Foreign Exchange is one of my favorite bands/group.

Last Night in Vegas

Enjoyed my time in the city of Sin. NYC bound tomorrow and I can't wait, the West coast is really great but I'm a Brooklyn girl...what can I say.

Jamaican for Honkeys starring comedian "Trixx"

Yea, so this post is a bit random but the comedian, Trixx, who plays the Jamaican in the video is a pretty funny guy. He was the host of a fashion show I help produce back in my undergraduate days, and he was, by far, one of the best hosts of the annual fashion show. He's also a pretty cool guy in person. Shout out to Mr. Agyemang! aka Trixx. Hope you enjoy?

"Crazy You" Zo! and Yahzarah

Some music from the Foreign Exchange camp. Hope you like!

Twilight Eclipse

Sooo...as much as I hate to admit it, I have joined the masses in their love for the Twilight saga. Twilight was ok, New Moon was pretty good, but Eclipse was just great lol. I think the film gave us a perfect blend of the love story that we all wanted to see take place, battles, the joint forces of natural enemies to fulfill a common goal etc etc blah blah blah...I should probably start reading the Twilight books because I hear there really good, and im sure the book is way better than the movie, as most books are. What did you guys think of the flick?
