Every word in this posts gonna be about "YOU"
Raheem Devaughn was definitely wonderful. He performed almost all of the songs that I love. The show's venue was small thus creating a very personal feel. He was very charismatic, very enticing, very energetic. But of course, all of the "fake fans" were all over him. Despicable! As soon as he came out, a flock of girls flooded the stage. And might I add there was no security to block the fans from him, there was nothing between him and his "adoring fans" but space and opportunity. And yes, the flock of birds definitely were in for the kill. One girl was so beasty as to try to unbuckle his belt. He had to keep moving back from her until his one, lonely, security guard stopped it. Mad thirsty mad thirsty mad thirsty! Those Buff State girls are a trip. At the end of the show, he came out and signed autographs so I definitely snagged one, "Kudos for me!!". He is definitly one of my favorite artists so getting to see him for only 5 dollars was awesome. Truly. Anyway, farewell Mr. Devaughn, hope to see you soon...maybe I'll get my hug next time...

The Fashion World Wasn't Ready for Korto! Project Runway Jargon

So mad that Korto lost Project Runway! Her designs were hott!! I think the only reason she lost was because her clothing was for women of all Shades. Her clothing would appeal to all different types of women. Isn't that the beauty of fashion though? BONK! I guess not! I guess that would have been a bit too much for the world of high fashion. High fashion only has room for one ethnic piece at a time which is always worn by the signature "African model". Kudos to Leanne though, her styles were definitely hot as well ( I CANNOT HATE) but Korto had it all! Diversity, beauty and style in all of her designs. Tear Tear, Black girls always finish last!!!!!
If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything
Today I participated and was one of the leaders of the Student Association Unity Rally. The purpose of this rally was to promote diversity at UB ( a predominantly white school). In the schools newspaper, The Spectrum, the Black Student Union was attacked and called a "racist organization". They also attacked the LGBTA (Lesbian, Gay, BiSexual, Transgendered Alliance) by saying that gay people put "their gender over their duty to be a human" by joining a club such as LGBTA. The editor that wrote this opinion piece has chosen to completely ignore the reason's that these clubs were started. All of the clubs that participated in today's rally all began because students of color and gay students had no voice, especially at this university. BSU was founded in 1967 at the tip end of the civil rights movement and at the dawn of the Black Panther Movement during a time of civil unrest and social inequality. Today we have evolved as a club whose main focus is to teach UB Students about black culture and to give black students an outlet to be themselves. We discuss topics that affect black people but we invite all to join so they can learn about the culture. When I first came to UB, I met students who had never dealt with a person of color on a personal basis. Some had never even seen a black person in person. What type of shit is that?? This is why clubs such as BSU exist. The racist bastards at the Spectrum will never know what it's like to sit in a classroom and be the only black student and feeling like whatever you say speaks for the entire race. I don't expect them to understand, they are all kids that benefit from white privelage. I'm glad my organization as well as several others got a chance to get together to let UB students know the reason why we exist and to prove that none of us are racist organizations.

If I Could Forget Him, I Would, Please Believe Me...
You are so wrong for me. You are semi what I need in my life. You have some qualities I like in a man, but certainly lack the ones I appreciate the most. You never agree with me, you never take anything seriously. But still, I can't forget you and I still don't know if I want to.
Jazmine Sullivan "I'll Bust The Windows Out Your Car"
This song is way too hot for this video to be so whack. Who directed this? They clearly have no vision. Just listening to the song you would think there would be at least 1 drama filled scene. Perhaps a busted window??? Even if the director didn't want to be so cliche, this video could have been so much better, strictly based off the content of the lyrics. I personally would have loved to see a scene with Ms. Sullivan busting the windows out of a Mercedes or a nice Lambo. This video is a big let down for the ladies who have dealt with a similar situation. The song is still hot though.

Palin Can't Even Name Supreme Court Cases
So the ho claims she can find issues with several other court cases but can't name any. I can't even believe how dumb and underqualified she is for ANY government position. I know McCain is kicking himself for choosing her as his running mate. Thats what his ass gets for trying to be slick by choosing a faux Hillar Clinton. Voters are dumb, but not that dumb...
Post Secret
So I just found out about this cool new blog/series of books entitled "Post Secret". Apparently I am behind the rest of the world because I just found out about it a couple of weeks ago. Post Secret is an art project started by this guy named Frank where people all around the world send him their most deepest and darkest secrets. Some of the secrets are really sad and others are really funny. All of them serve the purpose of allowing the sender of the secret to express themselves freely and anonymously for the entire world to see. I had to share this with those who read my blog because I really think this project is cool. It's been going on for 4 years now. The guy who started this project actually had a talk at my school. I wish I would have known about him and his project before he came here because I definitely would have gone. If you want to learn more about this project, please watch this video. It tells you about how it all began and gives you a sneak peak at some of the post cards that people have sent in. After watching the very short film, I am sure you will be as touched as I was.

Coffee is a Virtue
How can it be physically possible to read the same sentence 10 times and still not understand what you've read?
Why is everything more interesting than what I'm supposed to be reading. And when I say everything, I do mean everything and anything.
If I could actually study the entire time without venturing off into cyberworld or my minds current events, I may have been done studying by now. But no, instead its 2:27 am and I'm blogging about not being able to study. I can guarantee you that this is more interesting than studying though.
Any Who, I guess I will go back to studying as soon as I check all of my emails from all three of my email accounts, erase some songs from my itunes that I've listened to only once, put my clothes in the laundry bag, check facebook 2 more times, and make some more coffee!

"Love isn't something you find, Love is something that finds you"
-Loretta Young
To whomever this may possibly concern,
It may be impossible to find your perfect match or "soul mate" so to speak. If it was possible to find this person, I would like to think that I would have. I've been very alert, attentive, observant and vigilant. All at once. With that said, I guess it is safe to say that I have been on the lookout. Even still, this magical person has yet to reveal himself; leading me to believe that the old saying is true. "When you stop looking for something, you will usually find it". This phenomenon holds true in so many instances. Like when you can't find your remote or an earring. As soon as you stop looking or better yet, when your in the process of looking for something else, you find the one thing you were looking for previously. When you do find it, your response is usually something like "Wow, I was looking for this!" when in actuality, you weren't looking for It. It found you. What a lovely feeling it is when something you were looking for finds you.
Sincerely,
Lost in Buffalo and waiting to be found LOL
