I haven't been Diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder...

After Date #3, I realize that I may have made a mistake about this guy. I think we got along so well at first because he was very inquisitive ( and I do like talking about myself! lol) but now that the initial "getting to know you is done", i find myself a little annoyed by him. He is an extremely nice guy but I think he may have some unresolved issues, and quite frankly i see him more as a friend; definitely not feeling that romantic vibe... I guess I spoke WAY too soon!!!

Magic Man

Ok All... So I met this guy...and all I can say is "Perfection!", well almost. Handsome, great personality, funny, career, loves kids, considerate, thoughtful, smart, independent... I mean I can go on, but I'll stop there. I never thought that I would find ONE guy who has all of these great qualities. Granted if I could put several guys in to one, then maybe I could come close but I seriously seem to have found ONE man who embodies all of the characteristics I have been looking for. I still find it hard to believe that things could work out so perfectly, this is not to say that I am looking for a flaw, but maybe I'm mentally preparing myself for one. (lol)

If I could be like some kind of master scultptor of people, and make some tweaks or changes about him, I would make him little taller but honestly, his height is really a minute detail when considering how great he is, or seems to be so far.

Here is an oath I have made to myself, I have decided to be smarter in 09'...

I will keep an open mind and open heart without being blind, I will let things happen with he and I naturally, I will not force anything, I will be the sophisticated, moral woman I was raised to be, I will not take him for granted, I will not take advantage, I will show him the respect that he shows me, I will not mess this up for myself, I will not push him away from fear, I will not hold him in such high regard that I forget that he is only human and bound to make human mistakes. I will love myself first and, if it gets that far, Love him after. I won't make the same mistakes I have made in the past. Most importantly... I will not take any crap.

Had a pretty good day. Chilled with a guy who was very kind and very sweet. It was kind of a breath of fresh air for me, being that I haven't really hung out with someone so sincere and genuine as he. We didn't do much but I enjoyed his company. I think this one may be something serious ya'll...Will keep you posted.

"Pretty in Pink Party"

So one of my fabulous friends had a "Pretty in Pink Party", loosely based on the movie Pretty in Pink, which I have never seen. The theme was very cute and all girlicious like. Some of the guests were decked out in 80's gear, everyone else had on some remnant of pink. There was food, drinks, and games to determine how close you and your best friend really are. I learned more about my friends playing this game.
We were supposed to view the film "Pretty in Pink". My friend planned to order the film On Demand while but found out that it was no longer available for viewing. What are the chances of that??? Movies are usually available OnDemand forever, but on the day of her pretty pink shindig, its not there. I found it quite amusing. At this party, I became acquainted with the hostess' friend. She happens to be the great granddaughter of Marcus Garvey. I found that pretty amazing. I'm partying with the leader of the "Back to Africa" movements great granddaughter! Not something that happens to everyone everyday LOL.
Anywho, I love my friends, they are all gorgeous and they looked EXCEPTIONALLY "Pretty in Pink" ;)
